About the Artist

Hello Friends,
I am Marie Stevenson, a silversmith, educator, and the founder of Soul Solder & Stone. My work is rooted in traditional silversmithing techniques, where clean design meets organic detail to create timeless, wearable art.
Each piece I create is fabricated entirely by hand, with an emphasis on quality, intention, and the subtle marks of the maker. I believe jewelry should feel personal—an extension of the wearer’s story—and my studio practice reflects that philosophy.
Alongside my jewelry collections, I teach workshops that demystify metalsmithing and empower others to create with their hands. Through teaching, I strive to foster an inviting, supportive environment where creativity and craftsmanship are equally valued.
At Soul Solder & Stone, my work is guided by patience, curiosity, and soul—where fire, metal, and human touch come together to create something lasting.
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Metal Morphosis Jewelry Studio and Kelly Diemond, owner, for mentorship, collaboration, and the generous use of studio space for photographing this jewelry collection. This work reflects the creativity and community fostered within the studio.
